About Us

As the principal of Wild Deer Management, l am the deer manager on one of the oldest deer parks in Britain with a herd of Fallow and Sika.

I’m also a past trainer/assessor for the DSC1 and now run a variety of other stalking/shooting related courses with 30+ years experience of stalking and rifle shooting.

For the past 20 years l’ve been involved in organising a number of Deer Management Groups controlling Muntjac, Roe and Fallow on Estates and Public access land.

Professionally qualified as an Arborist, Arboricultural consultant and previously an Agronomist.

All of these roles are hinged around my deep interest in the ecology and management of the countryside, having been born in the country and brought up in agriculture before moving into woodland and deer management.

It is due to these interests that l manage deer and deer stalkers as l’m passionate about good deer management being integrated into good sustainable use of the countryside.
